Mesa/Boogie Subway Rocket Sound Clips
by Bryan on May.19, 2009, under Music
About a month ago, I purchased a Subway Rocket and said I would put some sound clips up. It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally gotten around to it. Well, I got around to making one :)
Sound Clips:
Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket Tone – Contour Mode
I’ll post the others soon, I promise!
My hope for this site is that my thoughts and experiences find their way to those who can make use of them. I've been a professional software developer and amateur photographer since 1999 and an amateur musician for nearly 20 years. I have done a fair-share of paying gigs and teaching, but nowadays, I spend most of my music-related time in my home studio. Most of my writing will fall into the main site categories, but I also enjoy reading, running, and auto-racing, so look out for posts on each of those from time to time. Enjoy.

Hey. I dig your clip of the contour mode and the detailed info you included in the post about your subway rocket.
I picked up one of these used in 2009 and absolutely love it. (Mine has a tweed grill. I have a pic I can send you.)
2 years later and I feel like I’ve finally mastered the ins and outs of the little tone monster!
I got a fabulous 1X12 extension cab custom built and loaded with an Eminence Cannibis Rex at a very reasonable price from:

in Nashville, TN
Together they rule.
Right now I’m eying equipment to put together my first home studio and would love to chat with you about your experience and any advice. Please shoot me an email if you are so inclined!
